Terms and Conditions
General Terms
Any breach of any conditions of the Contract Agreement by the Customer or Venue may result in Snap Shed refusing to hire or provide any service, or ceasing to hire or provide any service before the end of the allotted time. In each such instance, no recompense shall be made to the Customer.
Bookings
A booking is not confirmed until Snap Shed has contacted the customer and confirmed the booking required is available, in addition a deposit of £100 has been paid. A booking date is held for 7 days from the date of enquiry for the deposit to be paid and will then be released for other bookings. A Contract Agreement will need to be signed by the customer agreeing to Snap Shed’s T&C’s for the booking to be confirmed.
Amendments
Once the Customer has paid the deposit, bookings can only be amended by agreement of both parties. Although packages may be upgraded if available, the Customer won’t be able to downgrade under any circumstances.
Deposit
A deposit of £100 is required to secure booking, the remainder to be paid before 1 month prior to the event. If the event is within 2 months of the booking date a deposit of 50% is required, the remainder to be paid before 1 month prior to the event.
Cancellation
Snap Shed will charge the following fees should a cancellation occur:
Within 3 months of the event: The full agreed fee.
Within 6 months of the event: 50% of the full agreed fee.
The initial £100 is NON REFUNDABLE under any circumstances.
Any unpaid cancellation charges after 30 days of invoice will be passed to a collections agency who will act on behalf of Snap Shed. Further charges may then be added to your account.
Extra Prints
Extra prints are available to purchase in addition to the selected package. Customers can purchase 100 extra prints for £25, to a maximum of 400 prints. Customers are to detail this requirement on the booking form in “Additional Information”. Extra prints cannot be purchased when the event is running, the pre-arranged amount will be supplied at the venue.
Change Of Date Policy
Customers must contact us in advance to inquire about the availability of a new date for their Photo Booth booking. If the requested date is available, a £30 administrative fee will be applicable for processing the date change.
In the event that the requested date is not available, the booking will be cancelled, and refunds will be issued, if applicable, in line with our cancellation policy.
Please note that changes to the booking date are subject to availability and the outlined administrative fee. Contact us promptly to discuss and finalise any date adjustments.
Responsibility For Guests
The Customer is responsible for the behaviour of his / her guests. Snap Shed or Snap Shed staff will not tolerate anti-social behaviour by the Customer, guests or other staff at the venue. Threatening or aggressive language and behaviour will not be tolerated and Snap Shed staff reserve the right to cease performing if the situation is deemed to be unacceptable working conditions. In particular it should be ensured that all children are supervised.
Public Liability Insurance and PAT test
Snap Shed have full Public Liability Insurance, and our equipment is PAT tested annually. Copies of documentation can be provided upon request.
Equipment & Damage Liability
All equipment remains the property of Snap Shed. The Customer will be liable for any damage or loss suffered to Snap Shed equipment during the ‘Hire Period.’
The ‘Hired Period’ is defined as running from the time the Event equipment is assembled to the time the Event equipment is disassembled by us. Please note, any loss of or damage to equipment, other than that caused by fair wear and tear, will be charged for.
Responsibility For Equipment
If the Customer requests an early set up, necessitating that equipment be left unattended for any period, the Customer shall be responsible for the same as per the preceding paragraph. Snap Shed insists that no drinks or food be placed on our equipment at any time. If damage occurs to equipment, whether intentionally or accidentally, the Customer will be responsible for the damage and liable to pay for the repair or replacement of the equipment.
Extension Of Service
The Snap Shed staff will be available from the start time in the Booking Agreement (except for Force Majeure). Snap Shed shall not be liable to extend the performance or provide refund due to late running of prior events such as, but not limited to meals, presentations or speeches. Photo Booth timings will be pre arranged, and any overtime may be charged at idle hour rates.
WiFi Network / Mobile network coverage
To allow our photo booths to be able to share photos digitally via text or email the software that we use relies on a WiFi network or mobile network coverage. It is the customers responsibility to ensure that there is sufficient WiFi connection that Snap Shed are allowed to use or sufficient mobile network coverage at the event location that Snap Shed has access to for photos to be shared digitally at the event. If there isn’t sufficient WiFi or mobile network coverage all of the digital photo requests will be send after the event when the Photo Booth is connected to WiFi.
Idle Hours
Unless arranged when booking, idle hours are charged if you want our services to start later than the set up time. For example, if you require the booth setting up at 5pm but do not want it running until 8pm, this would be charged at 3 idle hours on top of the hire costs. Idle hours are charged at £25 per hour.
Force Majeure
Snap Shed shall be entitled to terminate this contract without liability for any reason beyond its control, for example if Snap Shed staff are unable to perform due to fire or theft of equipment, illness or breakdown of vehicle or Act of God. Snap Shed will use all reasonable endeavours to locate replacement staff, but, in the unlikely event of a non performance all monies paid will be refunded, but this will be the limit of Snap Shed’s liability to the Customer.
Media
From time to time Snap Shed staff may take photographs or short video clips at events. We may use these for promotional media, for our website or other promotional material. If you do not wish for pictures or video clips to be taken please notify Snap Shed in writing in advance of the event.
Travel / Delivery Charge
Our prices include free travel up to a 25 mile radius of Shrewsbury, Shropshire. Any further mileage will be charged at £1 per mile.
Access To Electrical Sockets
The Customer must ensure that Snap Shed has access to two 13 amp 230 volt standard electrical sockets, in the area designated for Photo Booth services. The sockets must be no further than 5 meters from the performance area.
Space To Work In Safety
The performance area must be at least 2.6m x 2.6m, and a minimum ceiling height of 2.6m to allow our backdrops to fit. The team’s working position must not obstruct any emergency exit route, and must allow enough space for the team and guests to operate in safety and comfort. This is to all be pre arranged by the customer prior to the event.
Marquee And Outside Performances
If the event is to be held outdoors or in a marquee, a suitable dry, solid and level area shall be provided for set-up of the equipment. It shall be the Customer’s responsibility to ensure a suitable and stable power supply is provided.
Equipment Failure
Snap Shed operates with regularly serviced, maintained and good quality equipment. In the rare event of any equipment failure, an on site repair will be attempted. If there is an irreparable breakdown in Snap Shed’s equipment, a refund of up to 100% will be given, but this will be the limit of Snap Shed’s liability to the Customer. Snap Shed shall not be liable for loss of service due to power loss caused by the venue or generators supplied by the Customer (or Customers’ Third Party).
Late Running
Running times are agreed ahead of the event, and our team will arrive on time to set up. Extension of service must be arranged and paid in full in advance of the event. Extension of service cannot be added during the event.
Photo Booth Booth Hire Terms
The Customer is responsible for informing the venue and obtaining permission to use our photobooth. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure there is enough space for our booths and the venue grants permission for Snap Shed to operate the photobooth at the premises on the selected day and time, with the appropriate power supply and WiFi network required. If we arrive on the selected day and time and this is not pre arranged or supplied, Snap Shed will not be responsible for being unable to provide the service.
